The Farmers' Market features local farmers in Caroline County offering produce grown in the county. Each month during the growing season will feature different items. Feel free to convey your produce requests to the farmers, so you can have specific information regarding availability of produce items throughout the growing season. Local nurseries will have plants for sale each week as well. Check with the plant vendors for availability of plants you need for your home or yard.
In addition to our farmers, local churches and civic organizations will offer baked goods and other items for sale. There will be different churches and organizations at the Farmers' Market each week with a wide variety of offerings for your enjoyment.
At various times, music and entertainment from local talent will be presented. Some are well known and others are building a name for themselves or their group. Regardless, we support our local talent and hope that you will give them your support as well. We remembered the children by scheduling activities to help them learn about agriculture. Our farmers and plant vendors are always willing to share information and knowledge with customers of all ages.
