Information on:

Pleasants Area Farmers Market

Our market is a great opportunity for local family farms to provide their goods to the community. Quaint downtown, on-the-street setting; on Main Street in one of only 2 towns in the state that has an in use train track running down Main Street.

The market is held every Friday and Saturday from 8 to 1 pm. We have locally grown produce, crafts, baked goods and other homemade foods, bedding plants and flowers in the spring, colorful mums in the fall, and locally produced honey. A maple syrup vendor comes once a month. There will be local farm-raised grain-fed beef (steaks, roasts, brisket, cube steak, bulk hamburger, hamburger patties, heart, tongue, liver, oxtail, soup bones, short ribs) and pork (bulk sausage, sausage patties, pork chops, spare ribs) available as well.

Once a month during the 2017 season, June through September, there will be a "Food Truck Friday", where 2-3 food trucks set up at the market from 10 AM- 1 PM. A variety of food is offered at these events. The set up dates for June, July and August are on the third Friday of the month. The September date will be on the second Friday of the month.
